Thanks again for the support .. all sorted now by John at Dave Mac . They have 2 types available 25 tooth sprocket /100mm/30mm and 28 tooth sprocket / 108mm / 30mm ( mine ) @ 36pounds + shipping ... so very good value . :)

Had great response from DDK as usual :)

Alan , would love to fit new ones but with CLM .. Holidays etc don't think the lady indoors would approve . :cry: Maybe for Xmas :lol:

Drive shaft joint

Probably a long shot , but I need 1 drive shaft joint only :( . after an overhaul found 1 has a slight crack . It's for a 72 car .

Just wanted to give some feedback and thank all for the great input . I bought new clips as per advice from Chris and must say they looked to have a better shape then my 40 year old ones . Cable adjusted as per Mike's advice and presto job done :cheers: A simple job really when done correctly . Look...

Thank you very much much for all your input .
I have ordered the 2 plastic retaining clips as you mentioned and CUT the tie strap :oops: have also ordered 4 new expansion clips at 10 pounds a pop :shock:

Will report back at the end of the week when parts have arrived .

Wondering if somebody else has had the same issue :roll: I have just put a brand new pair of Handbrake shoes for my 911 (Pagid) and I can not get them to lock the back disc . If you see the photo below the expansion clips are fully extended but the pads hardly move off the the resting part of the ca...
