Re: Bakers dozen? Urban barn find NMP 882L 1973 UK Targa S
Hi mike
Are you saying in a round about fashion that you are the 'keeper of the keys'...
If so I will send the vin chassis to you, if not who?
Cheers Michel

Re: Bakers dozen? Urban barn find NMP 882L 1973 UK Targa S
mike Our research and advice so far whilst not exhaustive, have given us the original rego number NMP 882L and date of rego. No first owners name allegedly recorded and the original books aren't with the car :( As mentioned before the car only had its licence plate for approx 12 mths. Hoping Porsche...

Re: Bakers dozen? Urban barn find NMP 882L 1973 UK Targa S
Hi mike We have had the vin and eng numbers subsequently verified through Porsche. It is originally a UK delivered S and remains numbers matching and complete. I appreciate it's a long shot, though we are interested to know any of its history in England, prior to export. Given there were so few 73 S...

Re: Bakers dozen? Urban barn find NMP 882L 1973 UK Targa S
So as per my first post does the finding of this targa S hence the hokey bakers dozen ref. bring the known number to 13 ?

Bakers dozen? Urban barn find NMP 882L 1973 UK Targa S
With the help of a mate, I've located what we believe is a UK delivered 73 Targa S. There has been a lot of rumour around the existence of the car, with no one I believe having seen it for more than a qtr century. it's spent its time locked in a dry surburban shed, all but forgotten since the early ...

Re: 1973 911 Targa
If I recall correctly, digging deep into my memory from around the time I acquired my car (I am only referring to 911S F Series Targas because that is all I know) there were approximately 490 (?) F Series S Targas produced (RHD and LHD). Am I right in thinking that there were no RHD Targas produced...

Re: Bushes and suspension parts
Make sure they are quoting for a 67, not a later 911/912 which has a completely different set of bushes, or 69 on which has a different front suspension design. I don't think Turbo tie rods fit the early rack, but willing to be corrected. I have a Sept '67 912 which is a '68 model, (may have been N...
