Heuer sports timer repair

Can any one here in the UK or in Europe recommend a reliable person who can repair the vintage Heuer dash timers? They would need to have a source for the no longer available parts.

thanks for your assistance.

Re: 911 Forum users please post a picture of your car.

The last big drive was in the Catskills in New York state... The roads were great but very dirty and dusty. My odometer turned 222,000 miles and the engine still purrs like a kitten.

Re: For the love of Steering Wheels.....

I got this Monza from 'Mr. Momo' in Germany who was featured in an Oldtimer magazine in his country. He refurbishes steering wheels and sells them. Re: For the love of Steering Wheels.....

True enthusiasts you all are... Here's a pretty rare, prototipo style MOMO Monza. Usually a Monza will have a smaller diameter grip with no spoke pads.

Re: For the love of Steering Wheels.....

I've thought a lot about a book and have taken quite a few photos and written a significant amount of text. I don't know a publisher who'd be willing to take it on. Darren, here's the MOMO Monti Carlo I need the horn push for. http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt30/marksgtv/IMG_3583_zpsxhsqkkpi.jpg...

Re: For the love of Steering Wheels.....

An original Werks wheel will be really tough to find. Karman Konnection makes a nice repro.

Interesting that you say that Darren because Moretti was considered by many to be a true 'Gentleman racer'. photo of Cesare Martinengo, Gianpiero Moretti and Jacky Stewart in 1978 at Watkins Glen courtesy of my friend Cesare Martinengo http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt30/marksgtv/C.Martinengo-G....

Re: For the love of Steering Wheels.....

I am as most folks know, MOMOcentric. That's because when you look inside a racing Porsche from the late '60s, early '70s you're going to see a MOMO. And, there is one very special, very rare prototipo that will continually show up in your favorite period photo of a 908, 910 and especially the great...

It was a terrific experience ... I really learned a lot. I should pass on a note of thanks to James Lipman who offered some helpful suggestions http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt30/marksgtv/JerryCarrera_2_zps77719ef5.jpg http://i594.photobucket.com/albums/tt30/marksgtv/JerryCarrera_6_zpsb7dd3403....
