Nice one, Peter!

It looks lovely, I've been waiting all week for the photos  .

What's the colour? It looks similar to my 912 (on this monitor).

I concur Timo, My 5 speed 1720cc '66 on 165 x 15 tyres sits at about 3200 rpm at 70mph but would the width of the tyre affect the rpm figures. Is the diameter (15 / 16 etc.) not more important in this case? As issitt1 is running 195/55/ 15 and 205/55/ 15 must it not all be down to the gear ratios?.....

I love the line in Doc Hollywood from the "hick town" mechanic when he says of having to do some work on the speedster "I've been looking for an excuse to buy a set of metric spanners!" It makes me laugh every time I see it, not that I watch it often...hardly ever re...

Thanks for the reply.

I haven't seen the engine myself so I'll try and get some more info and post it up on their site.

Hillman Imp Engine.

Hi All, A bit of a vague one this but here goes... My mother recently visited her cousin in East London and it turns out that she has what she believes to be a Hillman Imp engine sitting in a shed (been there forever). She wants to get the shed cleared out so I said I'd ask if anyone on here would b...

I was away at boarding school when the first shuttle launched. We very rarely got to watch television but we were all called into the recreation room to watch it 8) . I understand that the shuttle technology was actually obsolete by the time the first one was launched. The gap between initial design...

Hi All, OK, a final round up of Keith's (Rob's dad) day yesterday. I arrived at Rob's house in my 912 in Thetford at about 9:30, had a cup of tea and at around 10:15 Howard from Sporting Bears Motor Club arrived in his 4.5 litre TVR Cerbera 8) and took Keith out for a thrilling drive around Norfolk....

Hi guys,

I haven't spoken to Rob today as I haven't been at work but, by the sound of it, DDK has come up trumps yet again.

Heartfelt thanks from myself and indeed Rob (and his dad) for sorting this. DDK is truly a brilliant, yet still maverick, institution 8) 8) 8) .

Charitable Deed?

Hi All, This is a plea on behalf of a work colleague, Rob. Rob and his dad have gone to Le Mans every year for the last nine years but recently his dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer so, because of the treatment he is too ill to go so Rob has decided to throw a "Le Mans" themed party for ...
