Re: engine rebuild
IMG_1125 (2).JPG Forgive me for erring away from the subject but with the wee beastie up in the air and sans engine and gearbox I thought it good to get cracking on a few of the jobs pertinent to the car but not directly relative to it's forward motion. And opposite to forward motion is retardation...

I've got to drill and re-tap the stud holes but at least the cases can now go off to the machine shop for the major work. Also I purchased all the goodridge AN fittings to run a Ho...

Re: engine rebuild
Finished? you mean when the block has shuffle pins installed, or when the case savers are fitted or after it's been line bored or when the heads have been ported, or after I have bought the new barrels and hi comp pistons or the G60 cams or the ARP hardware or after I have put the old woman out on t...

engine rebuild
I am very pleased to report that the 911 engine fitted in my 356 is being rebuilt by that master of air cooled everything Mr. Gary Cook. So if you see a light blue 356 at any track day next year all you will see is my tail lights disappearing into the distance. You have been warned.

religious joke
In my capacity as a God fearing cleaner I was down at the church this morning with my bottle of Domestos. As I made my way down the aisles I tripped over the vicar soaking the poor chap. He was not a happy vicar, he called the police, I was arrested and duly charged with a bleach of the priest.

Re: O?T Humber bike: New Project!
You may want to have a brouse on the Veteran Cycle Club web site; that is 'cycle' and not cycling so the emphasis is on the machines and not so much the riding although there are lots of rides throughout the year. The organisation publishes an excellent magazine with loads of stuff listed for sale. ...

Koni shocks
I've pulled off the springs off my Koni coilovers to get shotblasted and powder coated and I thought I would get the shocks themselves checked out and rebuilt. Does anybody have any recommendations for such work??

Sunday was a lovely day (at least it was down South) so we thought lets take the 911 out for a run. We ended up at the Sun PH at Dunsfold for a few glasses of grape and some nosebag. We were parked outside and after a while a new 911 (I'm lost with all the new numbering, but it was a new one) snuck ...

944 parts wanted
I'm on the hunt for a pair of 944 turbo front hubs and the big brake calipers plus any other associated bits. Any leads to this stuff gratefully received.
