Re: Tyre recommendations

Thanks for the responses and recommendations. Will look at the suggested options and price up. The car does around 2,000 miles a year and with only 140bhp doesn't push tyres to the limit!

Tyre recommendations

Currently running 185/65r15 Pirelli P4000 Super Touring on Fuchs.

What tyres would you recommend for good performance with the period look? Does anyone use Blockley tyres?

Many thanks.

Re: Coffee and Classics in the Cotswolds. Next weekend May 7

Coffee & Classics is on again tomorrow. I plan to be there in a silver 911T. Was a good excuse to get up early on a Sunday last month. Pleased to briefly chat with Keith last time, and saw the DDK cars but didn't get to chat — it's difficult when you don't recognise people unless they're standin...

Re: 1973 911T engine bay sound proofing pad/mat

Hi Jamie and 8bit-ash, would be interested in hearing about the Appbiz and ECP products when you've received and installed them? Any photos? Particularly interested in quality of finish and how well they fit. Thanks.

Re: 1973 911T engine bay sound proofing pad/mat

Thanks Nick. The what looks to be original mat in the car is foam backed and is crumbling to dust.

Mods: realised I posted this in the wrong forum. Is it possible to move this thread to the longhood section and delete the duplicate in there? Thanks.

1973 911T engine bay sound proofing pad/mat

I'd like to replace the black sound proofing pad in the engine bay of my '73 911. Can anyone recommend a good supplier of an original quality product with perfect fit?

Many thanks

Becker Mexico Circuit Diagram / Technical Manual – Sourced

I'm trying to get my 1972 Becker Mexico Radio Cassette working again. It's a H120358 series 'Vollstereo' model. I have a friend with the know-how to repair it, and he's already replaced a couple of faulty components capacitors, but he's requested a circuit diagram to get the radio side up and runnin...
