VW Type 25 Engine rebuild recommendations
Hi all, my 1987 VW t25 2.1 WBX DJ Engine needs a rebuild.... is there any experience out there of competent specialists who could undertake this job for me?
I am wanting this one done, rather than an exchange unit, I've already been through a Remtec recon unit, never again.....
All the best, W

Have a great trip, and remember to cheer on the Frazer Nash Shelsley of Mark Morgan and Simon Edwards, one of very few (if not the only) cars that actually ran at Le Mans in period taking part this weekend.......

Re: OT: 2023 Racing Ridgway
If it has to be track then choose one car to narrow down the chances of damage etc? Yes indeed. Having several cars and doing a season's racing across them means the maintenance cost is spread so in theory same cost as running one for a season. Indeed, and I really like having the right tool for th...

Steve Stanton, Stanton Motorsports, Behind Membury services on the M4, highly recommended. Proper enthusiast running a long established Historic race prep/restoration shop with an emphasis on engines, has a dyno cell and a busy Rolling Road. Very capable of sorting you out. Lovely bloke too. W

Re: O/T Road bike recommendations
5 years ago I had similar feelings. I decided to trust my local independent bike shop (Epic Cycles), and chose a Scott Speedster Gravel. Ali frame, carbon forks. Shimano tiagra gears, lots, cable disc brakes. I wanted new as I didn't want a project, I wanted light but not silly money. 10-11ish kg. I...
