Early 901 5 Speed gearbox - Value ?

Hi, I have been offered an early 901 gearbox (waiting for confirmation on the type and serial number) Been assured it is a 5 speed, and has 4 bolt Nadella output flanges - so assume can only be 901/0 or 901/02 (65 - 66) - although identification tables I have found don't have the serial numbers list...

Are the replacement covers the correct depth ? have you checked the depth of the original covers ?

Just a thought :?:

Enviro-strip is the place to go http://www.envirostripukltd.com Seen fantastic results with 911 shells from these people, who are also the most helpful people around. Good value, too... That's handy to know - they are just up the road from me - will have to pay them a visit :) when my car is fully ...

Re: Wanted - Steel Front Bumper SWB (LWB considered)

Hi Dan, on SWB front bumper the fog light apature/fixing, the ends (SWB do not use end trims) and as mentioned the mounting bracket. We have swapped the brackets over from SWB to LWB but as you also don't have them that doesn't help. I will see what we have tomorrow. HTH Alan Thanks Alan - don't mi...

Re: Hi From Staffordshire

Sorry for mucking up your thread Dan, you should get a resto thread going, nothing we like more. Will be interesting to see what the COA comes up with, bear in mind that they are often wrong. Keith, Not sure how long the COA will take - but might get it before Xmas ! (only to find its wrong !) Had ...

Re: Wanted - Steel Front Bumper SWB (LWB considered)

Nick, Thanks for the input, wasn't entirely sure what the differences were, but have seen older threads stating LWB fit with modification. Ideally yes I want a SWB but imagine that there are likely to be more LWB available. Was thinking of changing mounts over from a scrap SWB onto a Solid LWB - but...

Wanted - Steel Front Bumper SWB (LWB considered)

Hi,

I'm looking to buy an original steel front bumper for a SWB car, although would consider LWB. (I think these fit with slight mods ?)

Would consider bumper needing work or rust repair. Don't mind a bit of work.

Thanks in anticipation !!

Re: Hi From Staffordshire

As far as I can make out the car is originally red - cannot find traces of any other colour, but may do when stripping down further. - Waiting for COA to arrive to confirm both ext & int colours. Was red interior on a red car an option - only seen red interiors on white or black (I will stand co...

Hi From Staffordshire

Hi, been a member on here for a few years with the odd comment here and there. I have a SWB RHD 1967 912 which I purchased back in 2007 which has been at the back of the workshop on the 'to do' list ever since. I am now in a position to drag it out of the cobwebs and hopefully make a meaningful star...
