Isn't it amazing what a difference wheels make to a car?

They look just great don't they!
Like the idea of widened rears.

I'm surprised how good they all look esp the orange and the green ones.

Pleasent surprise tonight in the garage. Very close look at my webers and the re-build kit that came with them. Kit is a real Porsche item (full of parts, inc shaft 'bearings' and the spindles are actually quite good! I need the fuel banjos complete though. Anyone got some spare? Alan: Thanks for th...

You are so right about Bob. He did my hillclimber back in 91 on webers (2.2), then in 93 when on MFI (2.4E) and then in 96 (3.2) when on elecronic injection. Every one a dream. :drunken: He has a special task coming up, bit like that Chevy.... When my hot Impreza ran 380 bhp/ 400 lbft on a 4x4 RR @ ...

Excellent DDK response as usual! :) JRS have stopped doing them, but spoke to Northampton Motor Sport Who can do them. apparently, good rebuild kits are hard to get! a bit more internet searching comes up with www.youroil.net and a great looking site in the USA (where else?) Spindle bushes, $4 each ...

Somewhere to have webers re-built?

I need to get my webers rebuilt (big spindle wear and some stuck jets etc). anyone know of a good place to go? Looks like www.jrs.uk.com are the best from the site, but I can't get hold of Mike there, but I like the sound of his operation (old skool engineering) Are there any others anyone can sugge...

Green housings are usually E engines, and I would simply go to Berlyn Services for your parts. There are 3 rev limits for the T/E/S engines, and the rotor usually has the limit moulded into the top side surface, ie '6500' (rpm) but I can't see it in your pics. Bert there will send you the right one ...

Love the springs on the wing nuts to stop them unscrewing.

Not too sure if this is 'valid' but it does have a 3.2 flat six and box!

http://i42.tinypic.com/s1jfib.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/ndk6bt.jpg Just to explain this: Look at the RH rear damper/spring coilover. There is a shaft just to the left of it coming from the rh front of the car. It is the gear shift rod from the shift lever. That shaft connects via 2 UJ's to the sid...

Ahhhhh!

Been Friday 13th early this week (and last)

The gearchange is for righthand gear changes (because it is a RHD race car).
The linkage was done by Crispin Manners years ago and is very very solid and posative.
If you wish I can take a few pic close-up.

If you mean the cross bar to each carb then it is the stock weber parts on simple brackets. I have then, just not fitted yet.

This is done because of the flat fan being in the way of the stock configuration.

Thet will be done in the next 2 weeks.

They are motorsport deep plunge on the gear box and fixed position Cv at the hubs. The rear end in March F2 spec. I am worried about the angle as it looks awful; they are horizontal at ride height, but almost max angle fore/aft. If I need to I can move the drive train back 40mm which reduces the ang...
