Re: What's it worth mister...???
Hi all - thought I'd add to this thread - I hope I'm not going to get kicked out for such non-Porsche heresy! But there are some lovely little Lancia Fulvias out there - I especially like the Rally cars such as this one..... http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C417454 Anyone know of a cheap Ful...

Hi Derek -
I used a slightly different, slightly more socially acceptable approach than Nige - I used a small gas torch (the kind you might use if you're doing plumbing.....). Worked well !
You could chuck them on the BBQ..... plenty of those in swanky SW London !
regards
Sean

What's it worth mister...???
Afternoon All - I've been having a look at alternatives to the early 911 and am really liking the little Alfa GTs at the moment - example attached. I appreciate the world of 911s is now gone completely mad but do wonder how/why anyone would buy the attached LHD 911T for restoration (or any of the ot...

Hi there
Max at Revival Cars near Heathrow is a well regarded 912 specialist and a decent fella.
He's a sponsor advertiser on here.
As good a place as any to start.
Good luck with search!

Re: So who here would consider a 996
A Ddk-er on here has a 996 Anniversary model which IMHO is the best looking of the 996s - similar to the C4S but 2wd and presumably a very high spec model with extra power

2.2/2.4 S - Estimate a bit low....
Evening All -
Even thought its a LHD to RHD conversion AND the wrong engine - surely this is a great little car at that estimate?!

Re: Back dated sc
Well, looks like it sold for £11,600. If it is solid then I think somebody got a good deal..... Nice colour as well...... Hi there - I don't think the Reserve was met at £11,600 - I think it would certainly be worth contacting the owner as this is the second time (recently) that the car hasn't sold...

Where did you find the results so quickly Steve?left4dead wrote:Just had a quick look through the results from Saturday and, of the cars that sold, I'm quite impressed at how accurate the estimates were (which can not be said of a number of the auction houses out there).

Re: Subtly modified SC
There was an even nicer (IMHO) sepia brown SC "RS" rep on ebay a couple of weeks back - previously discussed on DDK i think. I certainly believe that, for many of us, such cars represent a good way into (or back into) experiencing early 911 ownership where ya might want to build in your ow...

Re: Tangerine RHD '12
Sorry - no - I was only guestimating given its relative value and colour/condition etc.
Pricing of Loft conversions is the only thing that I'm seriously enquiring about at the moment!!
