Re: Stanford Hall Club Display Sunday 5 May
I think we may have got noted down on people leaving early too, I left around 2:15 (think most of our lot had departed by that time), I was stopped by a member of staff at the exit gate, he didn’t seem too happy that I was leaving before 4pm.

Re: Stanford Hall Club Display Sunday 5 May
Neil, I may be up for this if you still have any spare passes, but have a few issues to sort on the car first.
Just let me know if you still have availability, I can send a stamped address envelope or alternatively meet you on the gate on the day if that's easier?

Re: 1971 Burgundy 911T
It was listed on Ebay a couple of times Andy, I can only presume the sales must have fallen through due to the usual ebay messers.I don't think this car has ever been advertised on ebay - not that I'm aware of anyway

Re: What next ?? ...
Congratulations on the purchase Andy, it does look like a great car and I must admit I was more than a little tempted to go and look at this one myself just wasn't the right time for me.
Look forward to seeing how it progresses.

Re: Rare Porsche coming up for auction next month ...
Oh wow!
Not only does it look awful I suspect it has the added benefit of being slower than a factory boxster due to the additional drag created by those panel gaps!

Re: Anyone else following Darryl Deppe's collection
Fantastic!
I have read Darryls pages in the past but must admint I've not revisited them for some time.
Really great to see the kids getting involved

Insurance - Anyone used Howdens/A plan
As per the title, has anyone used Howdens (formally A plan) for their classic? I’m currently with Hagerty (markel are the underwriters) and have so far been pleased with their customer service but a VW friend mentioned he had received a favourable quote from Howdens so I decided to pop in to my loca...

Re: Boxster issue...
I recently had this issue with my daily, thought it was the rear wheel bearings but turned out to be feathering on the inside of both rear tyres due to a bit of age related sag in the suspension. Had the geometry tweaked and fitted a new set of rears and noise has disappeared. Definately worth a qui...
