Re: 1970 Bay (Outlaw-ish)
Luckily, we were only about 10km from our intended stop for the night, a B&B, that turned out to be great and with some super-helpful owners. And a plan needed to be hatched. Either I would get a new spring plate sent out to me and I'd fit it (!) or we would use the 'local guy who does some weld...

Re: 1970 Bay (Outlaw-ish)
So. While it's quiet over the break, I thought I'd bring you up to speed on the latest with the bus. You see whilst we had a fantastic trip in Spain, it was not without issues. I've learned some (expensive) but valuable lessons, which I thought you might like to hear about. Basically, the bus was re...

Re: What’s the worst car you’ve ever owned?
Rover 414. Had 2 of them as a company car. 40,000 tedious miles a year for 3 years. Absolute gutless pieces of Sh!t. Spilt a bottle of milk in one once, so it stank of sour dairy for 3 months just to add to the ambience....as Mickey Flanagan might say.

Do the right thing. Your call. Stay, and contribute, you’re more than welcome. But don’t expect a free ride. That’s just selfish. You’ve profited well from this site - a bit of give-back isn’t too much to ask is it? It costs to run a site like this. If you’re only here to trade for free (as it seems...

Re: FS: Hella 118 Fog Lights
Good question - It’s just that it seems 97.5% of your posts here are “for sale” posts.
If you’re on here just to trade, shouldn’t this be in the trader section (& thus contributing to this community)? Or maybe you just like free advertising?
Let us know your thoughts please?
Ta.

Re: Tracking Apps and Security Cameras.....any recommendatio
M-track very good - and have great customer service..... also has 3 types of tracking: Cell, GPS & Radio, so it's easier to find the car if underground or in a container....not cheap, but a lot cheaper and less traumatic than having to find another car... Internal battery means no wiring and thu...

Only a to55er would do that.....Sam wrote:I’ve never really been comfortable with SOR. Seems awfully risky. I mean, couldn’t a dealer just sell the car and run off with your cash?
