Re: What Seats are these
Seats, minus the headrests, look like late 356 seats indeed. Rails looks like T6 rails. But impossible to say for sure. Could be also mix of parts from different eras.

Thank you for the compliments. I’m pleased how it turned out - however there are few things, that nobody else would not even notice, I would like to sort out still.

What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
When I bought the project pre a in boxes and fairly sad shape in general I certainly did not think that it would be 2020 when I take it on it’s maiden voyage to Porsche meeting. But better late than never. Photo credits: Tero Virta https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200830/57b631f066e20d4665c699b8b0...

Re: Engine compartment liner, pre a
Thank you for the tip! AI has even longer lead times now due to covid. I’ll probably need to save this project for the winter.

Engine compartment liner, pre a
Some time (years?) ago there was someone offering vinyl liners for pre a engine compartment with few color options. There was even some options to have classic pattern and diamond pattern stiching. Now that I’m looking for a set I can’t find a provider - any leads? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2...

Re: Issues with early seat rails?
Hi Hugo and thanks for the comment. I too have more issues with the driver's seat. My seats are fully rebuild but the wooden frames are original. I need to investigate it a bit more.

Re: Veigel speedo parts source?
This was indeed extremely useful. Thank you! Br, Aki Hello, this knurled knob, on either a spring or rigid stalk of varying lengths, is found on lots of different makes of classic car clocks, have a look at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-car-clock-swiss-made-12v/254314241179?hash=item3b364f5c9b:g...

Re: Veigel speedo parts source?
I’ll contact those but I would be interested if there is some source on this side of the bond as well. Veigel parts are quite hard to find - should be easier to find them in Europe where they originated yhan from US.

Veigel speedo parts source?
Hello, My pre a Veigel speedometer is under restoration at the moment. It was in fairly sad shape when I got it but seems to restorable according to expert. Plan is to convert it also from MPH to KMH dial. There are KMH dial faces available from several vendors. Are any which is superior in quality?...
