Hi all.... looking for a pre '56 356 engine lid ...... the one with the flat panel under the grille as opposed to the domed panel of the later 356A ...... any help appreciated !!

Well, that's unanimous ....... I think I better give Hagerty a call as it seems to be a one horse race !!!

Anyone actually made a claim with them ? ..... how was the experience ?

I'm sure this topic has been covered before as we all have to review/renew insurances each year .... apologies. I've been out of touch for a while with this and last used Bain Clarkson for insurance who were ok, though I never had to test them with a claim. Who's best out there these days ? ..... no...

Budget is around £30k so falls short of the Paragon cars and not enough to restore the PRS car (not that I want to either! ..... been there and need a rest!)
Definitely want an A rather than a B or C (had a C before).

Rear seats, backs and squabs, pair from 1976 911 Carrera 3.0 in black vinyl with deep pile dark blue carpet to rear of backs. Leather straps & poppers all good. Very good condition, but not concours. No idea of value, so open to offers........ £100 ? Collect from OX7 ONLY ! Happy to answer quest...

There's been a dicussion about this on the 356Talk list .... the photo is one used in a previous scam and the engine doesn't exist ....... well it does, but it's rebuilt and lives in a car with it's legitimate owner in Italy.

I am currently Porsche-less and frankly feeling a bit twitchy ! So........ I'm looking for a 356A Coupe, pref T2, in good useable condition. Not too pristine to use, and not a rustbucket ...... just a decent driver that I can tinker with. Anybody with a car for sale ?........ or any leads ? Any help...

I'm thinking of selling my 1958A coupe in GT/outlaw spec' it's got all the right bits - half roll cage, dual circuit brakes, speedster seats, alloy decklid, Duane Spencer engine etc etc - funnily enough I bought it via Ritchie ! ( don't want to do him out of business!) it's certainly a bit differen...
