Derek - they will fit but if you're not in a hurry I would try & find a pair of the earlier '74-'75 aluminium trailing arms. These utilise the same rear antiroll bar fixings as your car (as did the '76 & '77 version) but the post '75 arms can cause interference with the '71 & earlier out...

OK - it's time to own up.... the 4-cam engine I posted a picture of above is (unfortunately) not mine.

It was a wind-up.

Get the seller to send it via USPS (std US postal service) - should be well under $100 for both rear bumper halves (airmail).

Don't forget to ask the seller to 'downgrade' the value to e.g $25 in order to minimise the chance of being caught for import duty/VAT/admin charges.

Luke - the lower rear shock is held to the trailing arm by means of a hex-headed bolt (M12 x 1.5 x 85mm in earlier models then M14 x 1.5 x 85mm for '72-on models). It sounds as though the head of the bolt has sheared off leaving the threaded section seized into the trailing arm. You will need to rem...

Miggs - it's a Weltmeister short shift kit. I got mine originally from Automotion in the States - now amalgamated with Performance Products. Same model fits '65-'72 911 & 912 (approx $100 + shipping): http://www.performanceproducts.com/ProductPage.aspx?ProductName=Weltmeister+Short+Shift+Kit&...

Hi Tim - are you talking about that Recaro sport seat you bought on ebay? I would get the frame shotblasted & powder-coated black. The reclining mechanism on the side of the seat was painted black - I think it was 'wrinkle' finish. This is one of the pictures swbsam posted on the Early 91...

Nick's correct - it's almost certainly a modern Prototipo. Can't be 100% sure without seeing the whole wheel as Momo made several models which were very similar. Do you want to fit one of these wheels to your car ? I have about half a dozen Prototipos at the moment in various guises (there are many ...

I've used GTX - both 20/50 & 15/40 - in 911's & 912's.

Excellent performance & cheap price means that you can afford to change it regularly.
