Not yet Neil. I'm not a member over there (totally 'satisfied' by DDK ) and I believe you have to join to post? I'll have a look over though, many thanks.neilbardsley wrote:Have you tried on the registry? I believe that they have a specific thread just for finding engines

Looking for 356 engine number P607421, and now also 804976
A long shot I know, but I wondered if anyone knew the whereabouts of this engine: P607421. It's the original to my car (according to AFN purchase invoice, not got a COA), a 1962 RHD 356B T6.
Thanks,
Kevin
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: 356B rear quarter panel (inner metal panel) pics please
It's the panel bordered in black in the pic below (both sides please). There appears to be a 'pointed' area near the centre of the area within the red line, although the sharpness is marked slightly by the insulation. That 'point' only appears on one side on my car so I need to see a close up of wha...

Re: 356B rear quarter panel (inner metal panel) pics please
Hi Greg, Thanks for taking the pics, it is very much appreciated. However, I must apologise as perhaps I wasn't clear but I meant the sections higher up on the inner rear quarters (see this poor pic from a distance of the area concerned - btw that's not my car). That panel appears to have a point ne...

356B rear quarter panel (inner metal panel) pics please
Hi, I'm having some restoration work done on my RHD 62' 356B and need to see what the inner metal quater panels should look like on each side on the inside in the rear of the car, i.e. the metal bits seen when you remove the rear quarter panel cards, from sill up to to rear quarter window and across...

Re: <<< The DDK 10th Anniversary T Shirt/Polo Shirt ORDER NO
Hi Thomas,
I ordered one of each last week (23 July), just mentioning it on here as a 'belts and braces' job as I didn't at the time.
Cheers,
Kevin

Re: Merc Screen rubbers
Hi Guys I know some of you are into Mercs so where can I get new Screen rubbers for a 1969 Merc 250? Thanks Berny. Try Jacksons of Poole, ask for Mervyn in the classic parts dept: http://www.mercedes-benzofpoole.co.uk/content/unitedkingdom/retailer-B/mercedes-benz_of_poole/en/home/passengercars/hom...
