M3 Sunday - Renault 8!
Spotted parked at the airstrip that runs alongside the M3, at about 10am on Sunday, a certain aubergine Renault 8. Thought I saw a blonde haired person (photographer!) standing next to it..... Years ago, when I last went down the M3, you used to be able to see into the airplane garages located there...

Events this coming weekend (13th - 15th April)
Events this coming weekend (13th - 15th April) Apologies, bit late this week (I blame the bank holidays). Loads on this weekend, including a 'new' VW action event, various other shows and autojumbles and even a Nissan Figaro meet at the Ace Cafe (added this one for Barry as I know that he likes smal...

Re: white Porsches
White cars are 'trendy' at the moment. Apparently. I'm not joking even :-? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2008036/White-cars-fast-catching-black-popular-colour-road.html How true. A few years ago, no dealer would touch a white car. Coppers even cars started having silver cars so they were ...

Anyone into Trains?
Anyone on here interested in Trains? The mother in law is moving house and has come across a load of old train books - Bradshaw's guides, rail atlases, books about the Festiniog  railway, etc. Some date from the 19th Century but most are books form the 50's. A quick ebay search has unfortunat...

Re: BBC4 - madness on wheels: rallyings craziest years
Thought it was correct of the the program makers to include both sides of the argument i.e his mate who was also there saying it way their fault for being stood in the road. Interesting to see the attitude of FIA as well, before and after, blaming everyone else, the manuafacturers, the fans, the dri...

Re: Off topic watch chat for the horologists out there
Anyone notice the watch on James Cameron's wrist this week. Am assuming it is a rolex as he was 'sponsored' by them. When I heard that I thought that they'd be some clever marketing from them about how their watch can stand the pressure a fair few miles down in the ocean (even though it was inside t...
