Crayford 914-6
chaps I am doing some research on a 914-6 here in Sydney and the owner seems to think its a Crayford car. I received a list from Barrie at the Crayford club but it only gives the Crayford numbers not the Porsche chassis numbers. Is there a list of Porsche's chassis numbers for Crayford conversions ?...

Re: RS wheel colour
I don't have the relevant colour charts for '73 but from memory Arrow blue came in about the time of the SCs

Re: RS wheel colour
Mike
according to the RS book the correct colour should be Mexico blue but the wheels may have been repainted Arrow blue,a later colour,at some stage.

Re: First road test or press article of RHD 911
Robin your pic of FGX shows a '74 911 in the background so its later than 'in the day' it also shows some differences to the original '66 Autosport test - 14" (?) Fuchs, black wipers,CN36s,the larger Durant mirror and the driving /fog lights have disappeared I'm wondering if your pic is of a lat...

Re: First road test or press article of RHD 911
Ian the pic in the Cotton book is from 3/4 rear so nothing there the John Bolster Autosport April 1966 test of FGX 911C looks like the euro headlight lens type rather than the US lens as RR has posted above the Autocar 912 test Sept 1965 of FYN 912C also shows the Euro style lens sadly,no 908 - just...

Re: First road test or press article of RHD 911
Ian nothing in the older Brooklands reprints 1 picture in the Michael Cotton collector book which describes it as an AFN demonstrator rather than a press car being an early UK 911 it may have been pre sold but had a limited life as a demonstrator to AFN's valued clients just speculating ..... do you...

Re: Which Coil
Lee
sounds like dirty gas issues if its coming and going
check your tank and its filter - the gas lines and replace the gas filter
if it was the coil it should stop the motor dead
avoid the Bosch silver coils - see lots of rude posts on this board
