Nick, Thanks for the reply. I have papers in front of me now from late '78 and '79 showing the KUP 406J registration. Are DVLA always reliable ? Andy, Mark advised the first reg was DLM 911J but when I asked DVLA they said it didnt exist.Mark subsequently said the DVLA lost some early records so it doesnt exist as far as the are concerned ! Alan, Just a line to let you know an ex UK car is still alive in Sydney. Chassis is 911 130 0760 and was made about Feb '71. The car came to Brisbane in 1979 after being sold through Nick Faure.
