Now all clean and back together I'm having an issue I can't find a solution to and I need help. So with...

Re: 914 2.0 > 3.0 GT Conversion
So I stripped down the carbs and gave them a thorough clean. One litre of carb cleaner later and a few replacement gaskets they look much better and hopefully will perform as good as they look. I think they probably originated from FSH GFK in Germany https://www.f-s-h.com/914 Thanks. I know them well. All James's and m...

Re: Painting engine shrouds
Hi Stephen, There is a company in the US that reproduce these. I can’t remember the source but I can try an find out if you like. Kind regards Gitesh . Best quality aftermarket version I've had came from Damon Josz at Series 900: http://www.series900.com/ . Many thanks guys. I'll make an inquiry.

Powder coat is baked at 400°F
I know there are techniques to Powder coat non metallic items but they need to be able to withstand the heat.

Re: Painting engine shrouds
I agree Mike, but with the limited look around I've had I can't find one that suits my pocket at the moment.210bhp wrote:it would be a shame to spoil that lovely car with a painted shroud.
