I looked at this and the others today.
The paint is not great but IMO (im no expert) this looks a much better buy than the yellow 2.4 when you start looking underneath etc
Will be interesting to see if they sell at guide prices tomorrow

Re: Nice early 3.0 turbo
I'm told it went for £58.5k plus buyers which means £65k?? IMO there will be a very disappointed internet bidder I thought it was worth £20-25k as a full restoration project Would be interesting to know if someone in the room bought it or it went to an internet or phone bidder We looked at it and ev...

Re: Nice early 3.0 turbo
We went to Brightwells this morning to checkout the 75 Turbo I'm afraid it's not so nice, rust bubbling through in many places and the history shows a lot of secondhand panels have been used throughout the years probably to combat rust previously , ? Rear tail genuine, it had had 2 replacements in h...

Re: $1,400,000
I'm not sure I agree with the last 2 posts? I drive an aircooled Porsche IB or SWB 365 days a year approximately 600 miles a week regardless of the weather so I would describe myself as an enthusiast. Not sure about the wee bit but I do have an interest in what's happening in the market place and th...

Re: Value of early 911 aluminium engine cases
Ive bought 2 early 2.0 engines in the last 6 months from the US and had to pay over 10k usd for each of them.
Even SC engines they are advertising at 6000usd plus
Not sure what the cases would be on their own

It must be your mot station imo
