Just a small note but the 19mm isn't really an 'upgrade' as such. It will make the pedal feel more solid but would actually reduce the mechanical advantage for the same pressure applied. Geek mode off (I have a 19mm also) :) Thanks - yes, I read that in the Pelican item. For ease of availability, I...

Difficult to diagnose without seeing it but it sounds like the mater cylinder. Yes - sorry about that! Just wanting to share the misery, as much as anything. The standard 17mm master cylinder in the 914 is easily upgradable to the 19mm found in the 911. You might even find the 19mm master cylinder ...

Help me to diagnose a brake failure, please.

Hey. I'm expecting this to lead to a wanted advert quite quickly, if I could ask your guidance :) I took the 914 to Tatton Park yesterday, and with about half a mile remaining on the way, it embarrassed itself a little by ejecting a big splodge of brake fluid on the road as I applied pressure. The p...

The Babelfish translation, rather charmingly says: BUBBLE IN FIBERGLASS FOR PLATFORM DE Vw LIGHTHOUSES YOU CONJURED And in reply to a buyer question: have note of the fiber, chassis and of Brasilia Which suggests it's one of these underneath: http://www.oldbug.com/0br1.jpg The wheelbase looks a matc...

Thanks, Mark. Nice to see you back in an air-cooled. I was in Cornwall a few weeks ago, but I didn't see much Porsche around - certainly not any older stuff. Closest I got to a sighting was a friend who builds luxo-yachts in Falmouth said Eric Clapton was there a few weeks ago, in 'a black one with ...

My annual HURRAH - IT PASSED! Thread.

HURRAH!

This year's MOT, first attempt.

Advisory - borderline condition of driver's side windscreen wiper.

:angel13:

That's what that car is.

Right, as a reward, I'll fit the MSD stuff this weekend.

Could somebody arrange for some sunny days in the remaining summer, please?

I don't know much about 911s, but I know how to cheat at computer quizzes... You are out there, dude... We reckon your middle name is Ferdinand. You drive a Porsche, you own a Porsche - you wouldn't own any other car. We don't know what your income is, but we reckon you'd remortgage your house to ma...

If it's the only one, then I suppose it's likely to be this one: http://covin.co.uk/Covin/show-pics/2006/p-s-harrogate-06.JPG If it's not this one, then the new owner will have someone to compare notes with, at least. :) Picture found at http://www.covin.co.uk/covinforum/viewtopic.php?p=31&sid=5...
