3.2 Carrera Front Calipers

Hi

Looking to buy a set of 3.2 front calipers. Prefer either refurbished or needing refurbishment but open minded on condition.

If you have a set or can point me in the direction of some, I would be very grateful.

Hi Will Funny, I was just looking at that advert. Agree car looks nice, I wonder if the "completely original" description actually means needs restoration! I guess the only way to find out is to have a look. Not sure where you are located but I am in West London so could have a look or per...

Thank you all for the information, much appreciated. As usual, seems there is more to it than I first thought!

Some very useful things to consider, I'll do a little more reading and then hopefully speak to Mike next week to try and work out the best approach.

Thanks both. I have a call in to Mike (at MBE) as he has done the gear box rebuild and am waiting to hear back. I was originally planning to use a LSD that he was developing but I don't think it is ready for use yet hence the need for a alternative available in the next few weeks. I think the gearbo...

LSD choices

Hi I'm looking for some advice / ideas / suggestions for fitment of a LSD to a 915 box. Can anyone tell me what the main options are, pros, cons and approximate prices? Other than the original ZF unit, I think I have heard of Kaas and Guard as good options but I don't know much about them. Will be m...

Hi

Lovely car and very interesting thread. Out of curiosity, what tyres would people suggest for a 2.7 RS rep on 7 + 8 x 15s? Mainly road use with the odd track day thrown in.

I seem to recall that Gantspeed had a green shell for sale .... don't know that it is the same one but certainly looks similar. May be worth a call to them in case it was once with them.

Hi Alan Great website and about time you showed of some of your work. A few observations while looking through: 1. As someone has noted, there are a few glitches when using IE7 when viewing pictures which seem to load very slowly. 2. Under restoration, the pictures don't match the cars in some cases...

Hi

Yes, does look similar and very nice although not quite the same. I really like the Momo signature wheels ..... will have to keep an eye out for one.

Thanks
