I shipped my 911 over from Chicago without being there.

I used a company called Midlands Logistics International.

Phone 01384 444402.

Talk to Isabel, Shirley, or Chris.

I also used CFR Line to import my 911 from California, without being there, and Kingstown Shipping handled everything this end for me here in the uk, http://www.kingstown-shipping.co.uk/ they were my only point of contact through the whole process, they were very helpful.

I brought my car over in 1999. Since I was a U.S. resident, I paid no import tax or duty.

Now that I reside here, I looked at bringing in another U.S. car. That meant paying the car duty and the VAT. Expect that to add 30% onto the price you pay.

Roll on roll off service should be pretty much the same from the West Coast or the East coast. I expect that to be something like £600.
