Aerial Suggestions

I'm backdating my 87 carrera and have replaced the windscreen with an aftermarket heated one. The old one also contained the radio aerial.

1. Can anyone recomment a source of good quality chrome aerials

2. Which wing should it go in?

Or is there a less obtrusive alternative to this? I hate the thought of drilling into this brand new paint job!

Depends how fussy you are about reception! :) I used to have (piece of junk) boxy Audi Quattro that had no ariel hole and a standard retractable aerial had been bolted (not by me!) inside the boot under the parcel shelf. It was extended across the car fitted with a right angle bracket.

Reception was not perfect but in a noisy old car it did the job, and as the car was only worth £50 it suited it's character perfectly! :)
