Sticking speedo

I was out yesterday for a long drive and on the way home on the motorway I noticed that my speedo stopped at 65 and wouldn’t go any higher. Anyone else had this issue?

Is it from your '72 so mechanical speedo?
I'm not sure, but I think there are some plastic gears inside that seem to be fragile.
A call to REAP will sort you out I think.
Outside chance the speedo drive cable may have failed or even come dis-engaged at the gearbox or on the speedo itself. Check the simple stuff first!
