New NZ member intro

Hi,
It's about time I said hello and let you know a little bit about myself. Firstly I live in Auckland New Zealand and I have been around Porsche's since 1993 owning several models including a 1981 924 Turbo, 1984 944, 1989 944 S2, 1973 911E Targa and a 1996 993 Targa. With the exception of the 993 all have been RHD.
I still own the 1973 911E Targa (~25years) and the 1996 993 Targa (~20 years).
The 911E was originally UK new and I don't think that there are many RHD 73 911E Targas in existence. The car came out to NZ early 80's complete with UK rust. It was patched up and raced for 10+ years. I bought it in 2000, used it in club events and eventually stripped it down to a bare shell and rebuilt it to a race car + standard (not concourse). I try to do as much of the work myself, but welding / painting I leave to the experts. The car now gets used on Sundays and is seen in PCNZ events.
The 993 is a Saudi spec (lots of options, full leather, root wood etc) and was bought in Bahrain while I was working there. GFC came and I sent it back to NZ. It is 100% stock and is used as a daily driver.
Over the past couple of years both cars have been maintained by my local OPC and its probably easier to list what's not been renewed/refurbished.
Reason for joining this site, looking to connect, looking for advice on selling cars to the UK.
Cheers
Neville
