123 distributor
Who’s running one and they as good as the hype will lead you to believe. And is the Bluetooth one available for 912?

Re: 123 distributor
So looking into it, it would appear I would need a Tune+ 4-R-V-V which is same for a 912 as it is a for a type 1 VW. Is that right?

Re: 123 distributor
I have one in my 356 and like it a lot. Noticeable improvement in performance and consistency of running.

I've got one in mine which is a typeIV engine, the bluetooth+ is great as you can alter the curve

Re: 123 distributor
I think the only difference is that the variant I linked to includes the spacer ring.Spit Nolan wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 1:57 pm Thanks both, inaglasshouse that appears to be same one I have said, is it?
The ring is also available separately:

Re: 123 distributor
Have been running one on my 912 for about 6 years now, have not had to touch it in that time. Had several issues prior to that with ignition niggles.
Put one on my fuel injected VW Type 3 too, and runs really sweet, also eliminated some small ignition issues in an instant.
I spoke to the people at 123ignition for advice and they were super helpful before installing it on the Type3.

Re: 123 distributor
I got that spacer ring as well, but it had no benefit. When mounted it sat loose on the distributor shaft, so took it off.

Re: 123 distributor
Thanks all, sounds like it’s the way forward. How did you all get a starting point for the curve maps?
