Hello Lee,

Yes, H1 is correct - my car is still equipped with them, although many owners have changed to H4.

Hello,

Thinking of fitting the headlights soon, need to dig them out. Are they sided left and right?

Can’t remember if I marked them up and wondered if the car be fitted either side?

Thanks

No, they're not handed - they're both the same (or, at least they should be !) ..

H1s are a lot better than H4s in my opinion. I had H4s when I was based in Switzerland, then moved to H1s when I moved back to the UK. I think the H1s are much brighter and more adjustable.

Hello,

Are changing from H4 back to H1 headlights a straight swap ?

Anything I need to care of ?

.

It's a straightforward swap.

Although not fitted originally, it's worth putting a relay in the headlamp circuit - especially if you want to use higher wattage bulbs - since the contacts in the column switch can eventually become damaged (burnt).
