Just about recovered from Luftgekuhlt

Trailered the ModRod down with the Sprinter van. A 2500 mile round trip.....campsites, heatwaves, shocking MPG, mulholland drive, canyon carving, great people, many laughs.....and some cool cars.

So in no particular order.....


Load up 4:30 AM and headed South

Drop off the trailer at a friends in Santa Monica and time for a wipe down.....me and the car

Headed over to Universal via Beverly Hills $$ for the Friday night load in...

And just like like that it was time to load up and head back North...

A few familiar cars there - especially good to see Kurt Zimmerman's old car (Sloop II) 'out & about ' - first time I've seen it since he sold it ~ 8 yrs ago ...
