Hi I’m running cn36 185s on 5.5inch Fuchs.

Am considering fitting deep 6s on the front with 7R on the back. With cn36 185 on the front and cn36 215 on the rear.

Anyone have experience with this setup?

I understand larger rims bolt straight on… can anyone confirm?

Thanks Rich

Should mention ride height is lowered , highest part of underside of wheel arch is 24inches.

I thought that you had to run 15mm spacers with 7R on the rear?

I'm no expert though :)

I’m sure you’re right. Without the spacer the tyre fouls a spring plate adjuster nut. A 215 usually fits under the arch but it’s really tight.

Hi Rich

This is the set up had on my 68 t/r build, 6s on front and 7r on rear CN36s 185 and 215. Spacers and I had the rear arches fabricated as per R spec. Car drove great. CN36 tyres are my go to tyre have had them on 3 swb cars.

My "Silver hotrod" thread in the resto section should provide a bit more detail

Regards
Mark

Sounds like a good combo but 215/60 tyres might be tight on the back especially if you've lowered. Fairly sure there's some info on the Early911s forum.
