The Great Big DDK Meet of 2024!!!

Post by Spit Nolan »

Sounds like a rude title that  but some of you will have seen the DDK Nationals post… well it’s happening!

So, the weekend of 10th and 11th August 2024 is the date to mark on your calendars!!

A national meet up for all DDK’ers to take place at Caffiene and Machine, The Hill (Near Stratford upon Avon).

The plan is to meet up at C&M around 11am and enjoy the yard and all it has to offer, it’s open to the public and Summer weekends bring out all sorts of interesting machinery to peruse. Enjoy some lunch from the fantastic menu C&M has on offer before heading out on an afternoon drive out, taking in some of the enjoyable roads in the area including the legendary Fish Hill! Nothing too fast or dangerous some of it will be gentle drives taking in the scenery and a convoy of Porsches, of course ;)

The driveout will finish up at a meeting point / hotel / restaurant which is to be confirmed, and an evening meal and chilled out evening. This of course can be opted in or out of to suit your own needs.

The following morning see’s another fun drive, this time down to Bicester, more specifically to Boxengasse and the awesome Megaphonics event! This is an amazing day out for all Porsche enthusiasts, as the quality and range of cars there is mind blowing.

Megaphonics is an advanced ticket only show, and you can purchase your tickets here…
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/megaphon ... =ebdsshios

For now we need to gauge numbers, so please comment if you would like to attend and if you’d like to attend all or part of the weekend. All in includes hotel for Saturday night (so we can gauge number of rooms needed).
Options are: All in (C&M, driveout, Dinner, Hotel, Boxengasse).
Saturday Day and dinner, Boxengasse, no Hotel.
And so on… hopefully self explanatory:)

The C&M team are on board for us and will let me know when yard tickets become available so you can book in your slot, it doesn’t matter if you can’t get in the 11am slot, the beauty of it is is always changing there.
Frank and team at Boxengasse are also on board for us, and happy to support the DDK Nationals Weekender!

There are no advance payments through DDK, this way you can book in and out of which ever bits you wish, and spend as much or as little as you want.

So please share and hope to see you all there :)

Thanks for organising - and I’m in for the Saturday “day” and have a ticket for Boxengasse. Doubtful for the Saturday evening….. but will be local so could meet up for the drive over to BG on the Sunday morning. Thanks again for taking this on

I wish I could be there, but on the summer family holiday. But wanted to say well done for organising something. Much appreciated.
