Engine mount

Post by Rupsol »

There is a plate bolted to the back of the engine - it covers the fan belt and the main cradle to mount the engine bolts onto it. I need one for a 72 car. Anyone got one they will part with and anyone know what the plate is commonly known as. Cant seem to find one on any search. Thanks

Hi, I don’t have a spare, but it’s an engine mounting bar or support, like this

I might have what you want.
I will try to find it tomorrow.
If I do have one I think it will be from 1973, are the parts the same?

Sorry, I do not have one. Could have sworn I had one over from a few engine builds, but no.
This was all a long time ago in the mid 90's so memory fading.
