I just bought a Depstech one from Amazon. Cheap but works well. Just under £30...

I have one similar to this which works quite well, especially with the LED lights on the end, and you can do a screen capture and save to photos, then upload or Airdrop it to your computer for a larger picture.

Make sure you get the right length of cable for your application. I think mine has a 10 metre cable from memory so obviously it can be used for other things than your car JB.

Have one of these.

Mark the orientation of the camera on the outside with a bit of tape or something. It’s easy to get completely confused given the worm’s-eye view!

The LED light & focal length can be quite short too.

I’ve got a blue tooth one which is great as can balance the phone somewhere safe to see the screen and then feel about with the camera
