RIP Mark Morrissey

Post by jury »

Saddened this morning to hear of the passing of Mark Morrissey.

I know Mark posted here on occasion and had a love of a nice steering wheel. I had spoken with Mark many times over the years and especially since returning to the USA.....thankfully had the chance to have a great catch up with him at Rennsport just last month.

Really nice genuine guy and all round Porschephile. Will be sadly missed in the community, thoughts are with all friends and family.

Oh no - that's very sad news - I knew Mark was ill & we hadn't chatted much in recent years but I had no idea things were that bad.

A great loss to the the early Porsche 'community'.

RIP Mark - you'll be missed ...

Oh no. That’s awful. Mark always came across as a top guy and I’ve had many a conversation with him. I sold him his first Heuer which led him down a collecting path.

Pictured here with one of his great steering wheels

RIP Mark

Tragic news and way too early.....he's been so active lately, it must have been very sudden. Our community is less so without him.

Mark was one of a handful early 911 guys that have been a huge inspiration for me - a steering wheel guru, always generous with his advice, help and support. I owe you much.

My heart and prayers go out to his family and close friends.

RIP Mr Morrissey, you'll be greatly missed x
