Southbound Restoration are the most experienced top builder and supplier of parts and materials, and advice, in this country, I think. I don't know any other possibilities in this country.

It is reasonably trivial to change the outer skin. But, from personal experience, any additional work is an extremely specialist job that needs experience and know-how to build it back up properly in a reasonable amount of time, and isn't a job to be trusted to just anyone. It is possible to do it DIY if you do the research, seek advice from Southbound, a have a spare couple of months :P

I recommend that you take the car to whoever does the job for the final fitting. Go for a good 80mph test drive before its signed off too.

You would also be surprised how much the front bulkhead contributes to the wind noise. Make sure its fully sealed up behind the dash.
