Hey, when it’s time to finally fit the bumpers I’ve noticed the rubber seal has a sticky side. Does the sticky side go to the body or bumper?

Thanks

I aligned mine to the body/wing line, but mine were bought new from local OPC in '89 so I presume original. Today, goodness knows what tooling is used. Get it to look neat and all is well!

Hey thanks, my car came back from South Africa in 2000. An original RHD car from London. I don’t think the rear wings have been replaced but you never know?

Really appreciate all the comments it certainly helps..
Regards

Take a look at your seal strips.
Mine have a small raised lip, no more than 1mm along the outside edge.
This lip is up against the wing panel, and sort of stops the seal being pushed too far under the wing/ bumper sandwich.
My seal were therefore handed, the lip being uppermost on both sides.
Not sure that helps as maybe aftermarket seals have no lip so making left and right the same, thus cheaper(?)
