Seatbelts for LWB 70-73 Targa

Hi,

Looking for a set of seatbelts for a LWB for a Targa

The 70 is different from 72/73 I think, and possibly different again for 72/73 USA and ROW cars, all mounted to the seat rail brackets.

I think there are static and retractable versions too.

I only saw retractable 72/73 belts come up once on Ebay in the last 20 years or so...

After 73, I think, they were centre tunnel and sill mounted i.e. independent of seat rails. The buckles had long stalks so cannot be used on earlier cars unless you weld on the readly-available tunnel mount bracket and weld a nut/plate onto the inner sill.

There are a few options for modern belts with short stalks for seat mounting.

Many thanks for the reply - had no idea of the variations ... have only had experience on the G series belts previously
