I don't blame Doug as the forum titles are very confusing:
Pre 1974 - Porsche 911 (longhood)
Post 1973 - Porsche 911 (Aircooled)

It should be:
Pre 1973 - Porsche 911 (longhood)
Post 1974 - Porsche 911 (Aircooled)

Year of cars are normally related to model year, not calendar year.

Well, it has been proved that an outsider will not understand the titles. I'd change it to:

Pre 1973 - Porsche 911 (longhood)
Post 1974 - Porsche 911 (Aircooled)

or better yet:

Pre 1973 - Porsche 911 (longhood)
Post 1974 - Porsche 911 (impact bumper)

Ha ha!

Im not going to get involved in in house politics. Im just trying to flog tyres, However i hope i do it in a freindly way without being too blatant.

But 1973 and 1974 cars are neither pre 1973 nor post 1974 so that wouldn't work.

How about:

1964 to 1973 Porsche 911 (longhood)
1974 to 1989 Porsche 911

and another section for 964/993?

What about "up to when everybody liked them"
and "from when most people liked them"

And back on topic, an advert from a 1976 copy of the Daily Express I found whilst renovating my house.

Nice one DustyM.

I love an old advert. What do you think of that hair cut?

I beleive there has been a bit of a complication in the production of the 165R15 CA67. the early tyre, however we do have the CNH36 on the shelf.

And i do think they are a super cool looking tyre.
