See the YouTube video below. Might be worth contacting the channel owner and ask for contact details of the bloke that owns the car. Reckon he'd know more than most.

Hi James

I’ve been looking for one on and off for a few years so quite familiar with the cars. Depending on what he is looking for, worth speaking to a few of the specialists (3.4) or John Pogson at the club.

I know of a fantastic early car for sale, really very nice but top of the market price. Good cars are hard to find.

Feroz, he’s joined the club and got his feelers out. He’s been to see about 4 in the uk now but non have been right and a couple of quite low quality. It does appear owners tend to hang onto them.

I’d be interested to hear about the car you known of .. maybe pm me ?

Back in 1985 John McKerrell rallied a Pantera and a mate of mine did the Manx rally in it with him. Memory alludes me as to why they retired but he said it was an absolute blast if a little wide for some of the IOM lanes.
They did the recce in John's RR Silver Shadow complete with optics in the back!!

Hi james, Sam Lander had one at his workshop in Malton when I was there a couple of months ago. The owner was looking to sell it, it wasn't mint but sounded awesome. Think he wanted around £40k from memory. If you friend is interested I (or you) could contact Sam for details. At least he is N Yorks based so not far from you

Off on a bit of a tangent here but I can't help wondering if this one is still out there somewhere...
Image

Driven by Lewis Collins as Gavin (no, not Bodie) in an episode of 'The Cuckoo waltz'.

A little more on topic and FWIW apparently Panteras like Lancia Stratos are very suspension set up sensitive, so a car with good bodywork (and iffy handling) may be a better bet than a tatty one that drives well.

All the best
