Has anyone used a 964 distributor for twin plugging an engine? Is it a simple plug in and what changes are needed to the drive spindle / gear?

No personal experience, but just starting some searches on pelican shows you need to change drive gear

No points inside, so need a programmable ecu.
I couldn't find a cheap one when I did my engine.
You know what happened next...

964 set ups aren’t exactly cheap. I’ve not priced one for a while but I reckon you’ll be ~£2500 with caps and leads and bits.

That is true, v expensive.
Going twin plug on a single plug engine is very expensive no matter how you go about it.
And can be somewhat troublesome to get sorted.

Simplest approach is the Clewett system, but that was terrible in my experience, still have the mental scars.

Just looking at options for higher compression and higher redline on either engine, 2.2 and 3.2. If and when my 3.2 needs a rebuild I'll probably twin plug it, but I did a leak down test yesterday and it seems to be in rude health so that may not be very soon.
