I really enjoyed that - thanks very much for posting this has given me a great insight as.....

I'm cycling in the Dolomites for five days on 24th June - with a group of friends

Day 1 - warm up ride to check the bikes - 20km and 600m of climbing
Day 2 - Gavia pass - 79km - 1,650m
Day 3 - Stelvio pass - 110km - 1,700m
Day 4 - Val Gardena - 85km - 1,600m
Day 5 - Sella Ronda loop - 60km - 1,900m

I'll wish that I'd taken my 911 instead !

Reward at the end of the week , when my friends fly home from Milan, I'm taking the train to meet my girlfriend who's flying into Pisa and we've got three days in Florence and going to see Simply Red in Luca and the Palio horse race in Sienna .

I need to do a 911 trip next year !
