356A Head liner to use as a template

Post by greg356a »

Morning all,

Desperately looking for a 356A - 1959 head liner to use as a template. I guess the condition really only needs to be complete, holes etc would not matter.

I cant find the one I took out anywhere, obviously in a very safe place.

Appreciate any help with this

Hey Greg

I have a brand new one, never out of the bag, that is for my '59 356a. I could maybe help you out in some why with this. Either send it to you or maybe make a template template and send that.

Its a stoddard one - 644 555 501 00

I obvs need this for mine but, as I said, I'm sure we could sort something to help with your excellent resto

Let me know.

Cheers

Gary

Morning Guys, really sorry completely missed your responses.

I ended up buying the cheapest one available to use, hopefully can sell on at some point. Proves the point never throw away anything!

Ha ha. I know what you mean.

When i first bought my car, much was in boxes.
I sorted through it all and threw everything that wasn't Porsche. I accidentally threw out the rear number plate bracket, as I didn't recognise it. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Still remember it now : (
