DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

One of my caps went for a walk on Friday so I could do with a replacement.

It’s for a later Fuchs wheel with the larger centre hole and has a ring fitting rather than the three prongs of the earlier caps.

It didn’t have the little holes in to pull it off and ideally I’d like one without holes.

What do you have in the back of the shed?

Anyone?

I hope you are well. If you have no luck finding a used one, Sierra Madre sell the ring type without the holes (apparently Porsche don’t sell this type without the holes)

I might have something Gary, will need to have rummage though and it'll probably need some work.

Thanks, anything would be great (even if it needs paint) as I’ve currently got a hole!

Just take the other three off and go ‘sports purpose’

Or, as a alternative you could go ahead and get your ring centre cap Gary and I will inform the dvla asap to let them know it’s not original equipment so you can order your ‘Q’ plate early.

After seeing the price for a new centre cap from SMC (who are usually one of the cheapest parts suppliers in the US), I checked on ebay to see what used ones sell for - & couldn't believe the prices for such a simple/insignificant part ...

Quite Happy to pay going rate but would rather it went it stayed in the DDK club

I'll have a look - have about 10 ? , but they may not be exactly what you want !!

Did you find one Gary? I have 2 that are polished up and they do have the holes in.

I checked my 11 , all have holes in them ...so not what you would like !!
