69 Dash tops

Post by Nashman »

So, I took what I have down to those that know and they've not seen one before......a RHD dashtop made of fibreglass, quite well which even has some texture to the top. I have acquired a '69 only speaker grille with tabs not pegs and it is nowhere near fitting the hole on this one - the complete thing is wierd.

Does anyone know what this is likely to be and then the next question - who makes the best RHD dash top which will take a correct speaker cover. Any ideas????

Thanks Matthew

Is it one of those dash caps?

Often used to see US cars fitted with them to protect/hide the sun damaged dash underneath

Perhaps a standard size speaker grille fits your fibreglass dash - I just measured my standard grille as 115 mm wide x 258 mm. The fixing screws are 67 mm and 232 mm apart respectively. :compress:
