Today, would that money buy a far more original car?

Don’t know…but what strikes me is that with so many restorations the car had over the years how much of the original is actually present…so why buy the car…for the chassis..?…if the engine has had new cases and so many interior and trim like parts not to mention all original fasteners (perhaps) then is a very highly priced bitsa

Each to their own…but I would rather pay more and have originality or pay less and have the performance but not the cost….

Oh…I guess that’s what I have…

Best

What's with the '1952... the next one' or have I missed something?

Cool project, looking forward to the thread

It's not obvious from the ad why this RS is priced £100k more than the Sadler car made

That Sadler car looks to have been well bought, hopefully it continues to get used and enjoyed.

That's where I was coming fron, the Saddler RS looked great to me in comparison to what is on offer here.
