Post by Ralph »

Drew Pritchard selling a few cars off here:

Is that 68 911 really worth £150k?

Did the 62 Beetle cabrio come from someone on here?

Ralph.

All seem massively overpriced IMHO.

The 911 was restored by Smiths of Cornwall and the engine rebuilt by Nigel Allen (also Cornwall based) around the same time both were working on my 912. Its a lovely looking car and all done properly.

Those prices though!!!!!

Seems you pay an extra premium for the ‘patina’ and the DP association..

I completely understand it’s nice to retain originality, but take the 911 out of the equation would we be baulking at the prices if they had had a sympathetic concours restoration or is that sacrilege?

All a little over priced IMHO

swb rhd 911s seem to hold their value pretty well, 150k for a std 68 car though.....

Based on my recent analysis of the market he can realise these celebrity premiums, but only if he changes his name to Diana Pritchard
