Nx3 cam. I'm not sure that will be much fun to drive in traffic. None original engine so that means you can't get into the posh Europe events?

No problem with Mille Miglia or Tour Auto. It is a great car. Adam spared no effort putting this together. Love it!

I would love that in my garage as well ….. but does anyone actually prefer driving these to a simile value early 911? I’ve tried a few and they’ve always left me a bit flat. Great little cars and very cool etc. but no match for a 911 on a twisty road.

Different strokes, and all that. There's a lot to be said for the old adage about it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slowly. Hustling a 356 along a twisty country road is a rewarding experience in my view, and short of cocking up the 'slow in, fast out', you're not quite so likely to end up in a hedge. A well-sorted 356 like this is an absolute joy to drive. IMHO, of course... ;)

I’d still be as likely to end up in that hedge, it would just be a slower more amusing accident.

Must get a decent drive in a well sorted example, I think some of the cars I have tried have been a bit baggy.

Is the premium on this particular car largely driven by being a pre A coupe base car? Appreciate it has been restored but its obviously non-original, non-matching engine etc.?

Yes 54 and all the good work. Not that expensive when you consider the 'unrestored cab' for sale on here.

Pre-A will be a factor but I think with an Outlaw the quality of the build is more important. The fresh, late case PRS engine and stack of bills won't have hurt. Well-executed Outlaws are in favour at present

This Tuthill built A went for equiv £144k November in the stronger US market. Expect to pay even more for anything that's emerged from the Emory workshop...

well I really liked Adam's car and I'm sure it drives as well as it looks---a great little stead for "B" roads especially in Wales and Scotland.
I feel the price is about right for this car, everything considered.
It';s actually tempted me to use mine (albeit not a Pre-A) on the Sunday run to the Podium in Newbury
