Goodwood members meet - porsche 911 comp
Hi
Can any of the well informed on ddk shed any light on the 80th members meet next April. Goodwood have just announced a "75 Jahre porsche 911 celebration" looking on their website their are no specific 911 races similiar to the 2.0L 911 race from a few years back......

I imagine it will be parade laps of some sort, show casing a selection of Porsche over the 75 years.

Re: Goodwood members meet - porsche 911 comp
i posted on the Goodwood forum a couple of weeks ago as i had the same question.
The only responses i have so far received are people questioning the 75 years of the 911 given the 911 only started production in 1964.....
Would like to get on a parade lap if i can

Join us next April to celebrate 75 years of Porsche, and 60 years of the Weissach marque's most enduring model, the 911, in true Goodwood style. Porsche 911s will take centre stage for a unique competition that will be one of the highlights of the 80th Members' Meeting weekend - a fitting tribute to an automotive icon.

Thought it might be a round of 2.0 cup but not listed on their calendar- https://www.2litrecup.com/calendar
By parade laps Jon meant demo laps - a normal feature at Goodwood as opposed to participant parade laps like CLM or Silverstone. These aren’t usually a feature of Goodwood.

Yes I meant demo laps, but it would be great if it turns out to be a race. Fingers crossed.
The MM allows cars up to 1981 I think, so it could be an interesting field if it is a race.
