I might be beneficial to set up a fitting thread for the mechanically challenged amongst us :)
Excellent idea- yes please!
Video required?

It would be appreciated if someone could possibly post a picture when it’s been fitted, just to show how it fits into the bracket etc. 🤔

Also does anyone know/think replacing this shift bushing will alter how the gearshift coupler is set up, hope not because it took me bloomin ages and a lot of swearing to get mine spot on 🤞🤣

Cheers

James

Seems to be a fairly comprehensive guide to changing all the bushes and the rear coupler with adjustments guide.

Received mine today - thanks Matt.

My clutch needs adjusting so I'll fit this the same time with my new aluminium clutch cable trunion too - should feel like a new car!

The good news is that there is no need to upset the rear linkage connection, although it is a little tight to get the allen key to remove the grub screw on the cup under the gear stick.
Image

Less than an hour to remove centre console, carpet, gear shift assembly, linkage 'cup' holder, replace bush, reassemble and test drive.

The only downside was that following my MOT tester breaking my 3D printed driver's side cup holder, I accidentally leant on the passenger one.

Maybe time to buy an aluminium one.

All received, thanks for arranging, Pelican show a video of how this bush stops a lot of movement for the better, once installed.

Can the last 4 guys please pay their final payments of £10.50 per bushing plus £5 p&p please - dean1057, zorkin, knappman and Ignacatz - so I can send these out too.

Thanks

Looking forward to hearing how much difference it makes from those who’ve fitted it and tried it!
